After displaying that she has not lost any touch when competing in the opening round of the 2019 Malaysia Speed Festival (MSF) Championship, actress Faye Kusairi once again impressed when she won the ladies category in the Super GG Time Attack held at the Sepang International Circuit.
During the Super GG event, Faye also recorded the most number of laps in her category, which demonstrated that she had the stamina and the endurance to go for the long haul. And she did it with laps times that was consistent and even getting faster over a streak of 10 non-stop laps. “I had a great time today and learned so much. Today’s extensive run gave me the opportunity to also get used to the car and understanding its overall setup,” says Faye.
“After the first round of the MSF, I knew that I had a lot to brush up and events like the Super GG was ideal for me to pick-up where I left, and I’m pleased that I did well here tonight. Massive thanks to Moda Machine for providing me with a car that is suitable for me, and guiding me in every way on giving proper feedback along with information, which is a lot. Now I truly understand that motor racing is not about just one person but is a team sport, and you need a good package to be successful,” added Faye.
After taking a break from motor racing for more than two years, Faye made the decision to start her passion once again and has team up with Moda Machine for her revival this year. With the backing of Moda Machine, Faye competes in the Street 1600 NA category, driving a Honda Civic EK in the MSF Championship. Her teammate is young stalwart Mirza Syahmi Mahzan whom has been in the series for the last three seasons.
